Recipe for Simlamirch Ki Sabzi

This is a quick and easy recipe in which, capsicum is cooked with roasted gram flour and some basic Indian spices.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Big Capsicum; chopped into small pieces
  • 3 tbsp Besan ( Gram Flour)
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • Salt; to taste
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves; for garnishing

Instructions
 

  • Dry roast the gram flour on medium heat till it slightly changes colour. Mix it constantly to ensure that it doesn't burn.
  • Remove it and keep it aside.
  • In the same pan, heat the 2 tbsps of oil. Add the chopped capsicums.
  • Add salt and red chilli powder. Cover and cook.
  • Once the vegetable is cooked, add the roasted gram flour. Mix well.
  • Add 1 tbsp oil and cook for another 3-4 minutes, mixing it continuously with a spatula.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve.
