Recipe for Kurkuri Bhindi

Ingredients
  

  • 400 gm Okra
  • 4 tbsp Besan (Gram Flour)
  • 1 tbsp Rice Flour
  • 1 Lemon; Juice Extracted
  • tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Chaat Masala
  • Salt; to taste
  • A few spoons of water
  • Oil; for deep frying

Instructions
 

  • Wash and dry the okra. Remove the head and tail and cut it into long pieces. Each okra can be cut into 3-4 pieces.
  • In a mixing bowl, add gram flour and rice flour and mix them well.
  • Squeeze the juice of one lemon into this mixture.
  • Add salt, red chilli powder and chaat masala.
  • Now add the okra and mix everything well.
  • Since the flour is dry, it will not stick to the okra. Add a few spoons of water, just enough for the flour to stick to the okra.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • On medium heat, fry the okra.
  • When they turn golden brown, remove and serve hot.
