  • 1 Kg Chicken Wings
  • tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Onion Powder
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • ½ tsp White Pepper Powder
  • ½ tsp Paprika Powder
  • ½ tsp Cayenne Pepper Powder
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda

Coating Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Chives
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Green Chilli Sauce
  • 1 pinch Lemon Zest

Garnish

  • Fresh Coriander leaves

Instructions

Preparing the Marinade

  • Wash and pat dry the chicken wings.
  • Transfer them to a mixing bowl.
  • Add salt, black pepper powder, white pepper powder, onion powder, paprika powder, cayenne pepper powder and baking soda.
  • Mix well so that all the wings are nicely coated with the spices.
  • Cover and let it rest in the fridge for at least an hour. If you can leave it for 4-5 hours, that's even better.

Preparing the coating sauce

  • In a pan, heat butter, honey and green chilli sauce on medium heat.
  • When the butter melts, add chives. Fry for a few seconds.
  • Turn off the heat, and when it cools, add lemon juice and lemon zest.
  • Keep this sauce aside.

At the time of serving

  • Transfer the marinated chicken wings to the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry them for 20 minutes at 200 degrees C (After 10 minutes, toss them once and then, continue air frying for another 10 minutes).
  • Once the chicken wings are done, transfer them to a mixing bowl.
  • Add the coating sauce and toss it so that the sauce coats all the wings.
  • Transfer to a serving plate. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and serve.
