Recipe for Chicken Sandwich with Indian spices

This is a recipe for a delicious chicken sandwich prepared with Indian spices. It is a great breakfast recipe and is perfect to carry in your lunchbox.

- 600 gm Chicken Breast, washed and cubed
- 150 gm Yoghurt
- Salt; to taste
- 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
- ½ tsp Garam Masala Powder
- 1 tbsp Kasuri Methi (Dry Fenugreek Leaves)
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- ½ tbsp Mustard Oil
- 12 Slices Sandwich Bread
- 2 tbsp Oil; for frying the chicken
- 6 Cheese Slices
- Butter; to rub on the bread
In a mixing bowl, combine yoghurt, lemon juice, mustard oil, salt, Kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and kasuri methi. Mix
Add the chicken pieces. Mix.
Heat oil in a pan. Add the chicken pieces. Fry them till they are cooked. Once cooked, let them cool a bit.
Heat the sandwich maker. Apply butter on one side of each bread ( which will be outside).
Fill the stuffing, followed by a slice of cheese.
Now cover it with the other slice of bread and grill it.
Chicken sandwich is ready to be served.
