Recipe for Dill Pesto

A delicious pesto made with fresh dill leaves, garlic and nuts blended together with olive oil. It can be used as a spread or as a sauce for pasta

- 2 Handfuls Dill Leaves
- 8-10 Walnuts
- 8-10 Almonds
- 2 tbsp Sunflower Seeds
- Lemon Zest from 1 Lemon
- 8-10 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2-3 Garlic Cloves
- Salt; to taste
On medium heat, toast all the nuts and seeds in a pan. When well toasted, remove and let the seeds cool.
Use a food processor or mixie jar to finely crush the nuts and seeds.
Add garlic, dill leaves, lemon zest and salt.
Add olive oil, spoon by spoon and blend it into the paste.
Dill Pesto is ready.
