Recipe for Orange Cake
This is a recipe for a delicious sweet and citrusy orange cake.

- 350 gm Refined Flour
- 250 gm Unsalted Butter
- 5 Eggs
- 50 ml Orange Syrup
- 100 gm Candied Orange peels
- 250 gm Powdered Sugar
- 15 gm Baking Powder
- 50 ml Water
- 5 gm Salt
Preheat the oven to 180 deg C for 10 minutes.
Mix refined flour, salt, baking powder and sugar.
Sieve the mixture.
Beat the eggs.
Add butter and mix well.
Add this mixture to the dry ingredients mix.
Add water. Mix well.
Add Candied orange peels and orange syrup. You may feel that the batter has curdled a bit. Dont worry. Transfer it to a greased and dusted baking dish.
Bake at 180 deg C for approximately 35 minutes OR till a toothpick when inserted, comes out clean.
After the cake is baked, let it cool at room temperature.
Dust some powdered sugar on top and serve.
