Recipe for Potatoes and Romano Beans Sabzi
In India, varieties of sabzis are made. These are basically vegetables cooked in basic Indian spices that are paired with dal and rice or with roti/parantha/poori etc.
The recipe I am sharing today is Potatoes and Romano Beans Sabzi. It is easy to make and tastes delicious!

Ingredients needed for Potatoes and Romano Beans Sabzi:
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 Medium-Sized Onion; chopped
- 5 Medium-Sized Potatoes; washed, peeled and cut into cubes
- 7-8 Romano Beans; washed and cut into thin pieces
- Salt; to taste
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- ½ tsp Garam Masala
Method to make Potatoes and Romano Beans Sabzi:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds. Fry them on medium heat for a few seconds.

- Add onions. Fry them till they turn translucent. Add potatoes and romano beans. Mix well.

- Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder.


- Cover with a lid. Reduce the heat and cook. Mix it from time to time.

- Remove when fully done.

Recently, when I made this sabzi, I served it with steamed rice and Rajma.
