Kale Chips

Kale Chips

Every season brings its fresh produce, and Kale is one of the popular winter vegetables available in supermarkets in Germany around this time of the year. Kale is a great source of vitamins C and K and contains antioxidants. So, if you have access to any variety of Kale near you, do include them in your meals.

Recently, I made minestrone soup in which I added Kale Leaves, and they added a lovely flavour to the soup.

On a recent visit to a farm near my house, I found Kale growing in abundance. I decided to pick some to make a few dishes at home. The first recipe that came to my mind was Kale Chips.

Kale Chips are a healthy alternative to store-bought chips. They don’t require deep frying and are perfect for your small evening hunger OR even as accompaniment as you binge-watch TV shows or late-night sports.

Kale Chips are crunchy and light chips that can be easily made using fresh Kale Leaves. The recipe hardly requires any pre preparation and the chips can me made in very little time in the oven.
