Recipe for Aalu and Beans Sabzi
In India, varieties of sabzis are made. These are basically vegetables cooked in basic Indian spices that are paired with dal and rice or with roti/parantha/poori etc.
The recipe I am sharing today is Potatoes and Beans sabzi. It is easy to make and tastes delicious!
Let us start.
Ingredients needed for Aalu Beans Sabzi:
- 7-8 Medium-sized Potatoes, cut into small pieces
- 10-12 Beans
- 2 tbsp Groundnut Oil
- Salt; to taste
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
- Fresh Coriander Leaves; for garnishing
Method to make Aalu Beans Sabzi:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add potatoes. Cover and fry them on medium heat.
- Add beans. Cover and fry on medium heat till both vegetables are fully cooked.
- Add salt, turmeric powder and coriander powder.
- Increase the heat. Fry till the potatoes turn crispy.
- Remove from heat. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve.
Recently when I made this sabzi, I served it as a side dish with rice and Kadi made with south Indian spices.
